It’s bank holiday weekend and, just like Ryan Giggs, the games come thick and fast.
Today we welcome near neighbours and former temporary landlords, the Stourport Swifts to Kingys for the first big Worcestershire derby of the season.
Neither side has set the division alight in this still formative season but the Saltmen are on a roll having picked their first point of the season in Saturday’s lung-busting ten-man comeback against ‘Hey!’worth. Archie Thurston’s second half equaliser was their first league goal of the season and their first in all competitions at Kingys.
Stourport also come into the games on the back of a 1-1 draw with ‘Hey!’worth. The Swifts have collected 4 points from their opening four games, scoring 6 and conceding 6.
Should be a nice afternoon and an evenly matched encounter.
