Today we welcome players, officials from Cinderford Town to Kingys.

The Hellenic League has just announced a fresh new finale to the season so it’s important that Spa maintain their impressive recent form. While some might think the League announcement is little more than confirming the dates on which games will be played, they fail to appreciate this seismic shift in season planning. I, for one, don’t want to miss out on playing a part in history.

Obviously, Cinderford will also want a piece of the action. The Forresters, have played fewer games than clubs higher up the table and a good run of results would push them up towards the top five. Bolstered by a number of recent signings, the visitors will be keen to go one better than the goalless draw in our previous meeting.

Cinderford is a town steeped in football history. Perhaps the towns biggest contribution to recent cultural history are EMF who bludgeoned their way up the charts with their tribute to Chris Kamara:“Unbelievable, (Jeff)” in the early nineties.

The sun is shining. Two bars, hot food, club shop. What’s not to like. Come and join us!
